What an Almost Heaven sauna lists besides the sticker
The Salem is the worked example because its Select page prints a price, a 6 kW heater and a 30-amp line, and it describes LTL shipping rather than a flatbed. On 1 Nov 2026, 09:03 CET that price was $4,176. This page adds only figures copied from Select’s policy, FAQ or product pages. It does not invent an electrician’s bill or a concrete pad.

Electricity example, not a bill
Formula: kilowatts × hours × dollars per kilowatt-hour. Example only: the Salem’s listed 6 kW heater, run for 1 hour, at an assumed 0.1816 dollars per kWh. That rate is the U.S. average residential price this site uses in the sauna electricity calculator (EIA Electric Power Monthly, August 2026 data). 6 × 1 × 0.1816 = 1.0896 dollars for that one hour. It is not your utility’s rate, and it is not added to the sticker above. If the heater cycles, the hours are the hours it draws that power, not the hours you sit.
