The pattern on these rows
- The 2-person and 4-person barrels in the table are 6 kW on Almost Heaven’s pages, at 240V and 30 amps, hard-wired.
- The Princeton is 8 kW and 40 amps on both sites.
- Lewisburg is 8 kW / 9 kW and 40 / 45 amps on Almost Heaven. Select’s standard line is 8 kW and 40 amps, with a wood-stove upgrade named on that page.
- The Allegheny adds a 10.5 kW / 50-amp option on the maker’s page. Select did not list that cabin.
- The Vienna is the exception to “the dealer matches the maker”: Almost Heaven lists 6 kW, and Select lists 4.5 kW. It is on the shape page, not in the table above, so the button for Vienna is not paired with a 6 kW assumption.

What to ask an electrician
Almost Heaven’s barrel collection says: “If using an electric heater, hire a licensed electrician to ensure proper wiring and compliance with local codes.” This page is a buying note, not electrical advice. Take the heater line for the listing you will order and ask:
- Does the panel have room for a 240V circuit at the amp number on that listing (30, 40, 45 or 50 on the rows above)?
- How long is the run from the panel to the sauna, and what will that wiring cost?
- Is a separate plug-in outlet needed for the lighting circuit the page lists (110V or 120V, 15 amp)?
- Does the outdoor run need a permit where you live?
A rough energy figure is heater kW × hours × sessions × your own utility rate. The sauna electricity cost tool takes the kilowatts and your rate. It does not know which model you bought.
