Smart ring and tracker subscriptions: the real 3-year cost
A tracker's sticker price isn't what you pay. Some need a subscription to show most of their data. Here's the simple maths: device price plus three years of required membership, in US dollars.
| Tracker | Device | Per year | 3-year total | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Amazfit Helio Strap | $99.99 | — | $99.99 | No required subscription |
| Polar Loop | $199.99 | — | $199.99 | One-time purchase |
| RingConn Gen 2 | $299 | — | $299 | No subscription |
| Ultrahuman Ring Air | $349 | — | $349 | No mandatory subscription |
| Oura Ring 4 | $349 | $69.99 | $558.97 | Membership $5.99/month or $69.99/year |
| WHOOP Peak | $0 | $239 | $717 | Hardware included; One $199/yr, Life $359/yr |
Sources and price checks are on each linked comparison page. WHOOP prices were confirmed on whoop.com on 15 Oct 2026. Oura membership pricing comes from a third-party source and is to be verified. Taxes, shipping and EU prices are not included.
What this table doesn't tell you
- Accuracy: we haven't tested any tracker ourselves, and none of them has a Renvo Score yet.
- Features: subscriptions pay for app features (coaching, trends). If you'd use them, the extra cost may be worth it to you.
- Battery life and comfort differ; see the comparison pages.
