Almost Heaven barrel, cabin and canopy
A classic barrel, a canopy barrel and a cabin are different footprints, not different heat claims. The interior sizes below are from almostheaven.com product pages on 31 Oct 2026. The dealer price, where Select Saunas sells that name, is from selectsaunas.com the same day. Select’s published interior and, on the Vienna, the heater, do not always match the maker’s page.

Classic barrel
On the Salem page, Almost Heaven lists bench dimensions 16 in W × 39¼ in L × 17 in H and cradle dimensions 54 in × 6 in. The round shell is the compact footprint. Select’s Salem bench line is 18 in W × 39 in L × 17 in H, so measure from the page you will actually order.
Canopy barrel
On the Vienna page, Almost Heaven lists a canopy porch of 69¼ in W × 14⅝ in D × 69¼ in H and an exterior bench of 16 in W × 13 in L × 25 in H. The interior it lists matches the Salem interior on that site. The porch adds length outside the room. Tape the pad with the porch included. Select’s Vienna porch line is 71 in W × 12 in D × 71 in H.
Cabin
The Allegheny cabin page lists a taller interior, 84 in high, and heater choices of 8 kW, 9 kW and 10.5 kW. It was not in Select’s product list on 31 Oct 2026. Select’s outdoor cabin in the lineup is the Timberline, at $9,963, with an 8 kW Harvia KIP80B. Timberline at Select Saunas Anzeige · affiliate link
How to choose
- Tape the footprint, porch included, on level ground that drains.
- Compare interior depth: 39¼ in on the maker’s 2-person barrels above, 63¼ in on the maker’s Pinnacle.
- Match the amp line to the panel with a licensed electrician. Almost Heaven’s barrel collection says: “If using an electric heater, hire a licensed electrician to ensure proper wiring and compliance with local codes.” The amp table is on the heater sizing guide.
- Almost Heaven’s Salem and Pinnacle pages say “This sauna ships within 6-8 weeks of purchase.” The same site advertises “Quick Ship Kits: 3-5 Days” on selected models. Dealer timing is on the Select Saunas buying page.
How we compared
Interior, porch, heater and electrical lines are from almostheaven.com product pages on 31 Oct 2026. The canopy collection URL returned 404, so the porch facts are from the Vienna page. Dealer prices are Select Saunas variant prices the same day. Select’s Essex page says the Essex is the smallest Almost Heaven barrel on that listing that can take a wood-burning stove. A general “cabins, cubes, and large barrels” sentence was not found, so it is not repeated. Lineup · Sweat Kingdom shapes · First-year cost notes for a different brand · How we make money.
